The latest catalogue is the fourth to emerge from this small Northumberland outfit, which is run by Simon Young and Jenny Vaughan.

Crystal lights made from old glass chandelier drops come in three sizes from £80; cotton dishcloths with coloured trim (right) brighten any kitchen sink for £6.50; and French stripy cotton dishcloths cost £9.

Union Jack and coronation cushion covers are inspired by old souvenir scarves and backed with silk tie fabric, while neat little wooden wall sconces come painted or waxed for £25, or unfinished for you to customise, at £15.
